have you looks into the stevens model rifles made but savage. they are very much at all and EXTREMLY accurate. i would go in a 308 cal. (JMO) but if you get it you can get different grains for all kinds of hunting from yotes to deer to elk for that matter. i use a 308 and so do alot of others i know. again just my 2 cents but worth lookin into
