Thanks for the responses. He actually saw the buck at 8:30 am on opening morning...he spooked it when he was getting out of his stand and watched it run off. He was depressed all day lol......then the buck tried slipping past him about 3:30pm. He didn't make it lol. My uncle has been hunting since the mid 70's and this is his best buck he has taken. I actually had to talk him into getting it mounted. He's glad now that he listened to me....he's already cleared a spot on wall for him lol.
