RE: Black Tongue, what is it?
I dropped a doe sat. afternoon. She was about 3 years old and had alittle fat on her but not what I expected. She wasn't as bad as some I've seen this year so maybe its not the dreadful disease or I was just lucky. She came out with 3 others which looked about the same size. Still nothing like they should be this time of year. Should have fattened up more by now. Another friend mine dropped a 9 point saturday and he said that the deer was pityfully thin in the rump. Looked like the deer was starving to death he said so, he put him out of his misery. He said the meat looked alright and found corn in his belly so, he was eating somewhat and nothing out of the ordinary except, part of his heart was missing.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
