scope weck
last week i was cleaning my tc omega ,i had it on the bar and went to grab a paper towel and the stock hung my coat and i knocked it off on the floor. It landed flat on the hard floor. It didn't look like it hurt anything but when i test fired it to make sure every thing was still zeroed in it hit 4 foot to the right,i turned the scope all the way to the left and it only moved about a foot. So i put on another scope that i knew was good, and it done the same thing,so i started looking the base mount and the rings, the rings looked like they were bent,so i went and got new ones but the store didn't have a new base. i looked at the base mount and at the firing end of the gun it looks like i can just make out a little space under the base mount. The omega has the base screws way back at the chamber. What i am wanting is to drill another screw hole and put a screw at the front end of the base mount to hold the base mount down solid. Reckon there is enough meat on the barrel to be able to tap another screw hole at the front of the base mount.
