need some good lessons on yote calling....been doing it for 3-4 yrs and only seen 1 yote........and ive been doing it as every one says
Kinda need better info brother. Doing it for 3-4 years, seen one yote, and doing what everyone is telling you what to do. Hmmmmm, a combination of things in my mind could be the factors that could be going wrong for you. First, how good is your calling? How many repsonses without seeing a yote have you encountered from your calling? Second, are you hunting the same exact point every time? Are you concealed enough when you sit and wait, or are you stalking with minimal concealment? Are you hunting in areas where there is enough food for the yote, ie. cotton tails, jackrabbits, ground squirrels, rodents etc.? Have you tracked them on trails, or have found droppings that are within a couple of days fresh? Answering those might help you along the way, and not to mention help us out to help you out in the long run. Also, remember, the coyote language can be complex, which once truly learned, can be limited to little or no problems on communicating with them, if in fact they are in the landscape where you are calling. They have a widespread hunting area, and on times when you go out and hunt, they can be 5 or more miles away.
