If you have to keep a gun clean and dry to keep it working properly, NEVER come duck hunting here in South Carolina. Hell, never come hunting anything for that matter.

This is one reason I love my BPS. Oneday two friends and I waded in a local creek for six hours jump shooting ducks. We stopped for about 30mins to rest. I propped my BPS up on a log and we were all sitting on stumps in the creek. My gun slid over and fell into the creek. I was so tired I could hardly move. So I just left it there. One of my buddies was like " ar eyou going to pick it up". I told them, yeah, when I felt like getting up. I could see it on the bottom so i wasn't worried about losing it. About 15mins later we had to get moving b/c by this time we were starting to get cold. I picked it up and we wentwading on. Jumped some ducks and BOOM. It was fine. Never miss-fired to this day.

Although I wouldn't try this with those cheap Remington steel shot. THey aren't water proof at all.
