RE: what gear should a beginer buy for turkey with a bow
Blind, camo wear (full set up to conceal yourself), box cutter and/or slate call, practice with your bow and calls, and when you are in the hunt, make sure you bring water. Some hunters bring a gatorade or something else. No, water. Make sure you are very well hydrated when you hunt and you make as little movement as possible. One thing that people did not mention is practicing with your broadhead, and purchasing a good penetrating broadhead. You should concentrate taking a turkey within 25 yards, for a beginner, and be very patient. All the tools in the world don't mean crap if you don't have patience. Otherwise, good luck.
