Richard- You've accomplished a lot in a short time as a deer hunter. I hunted many years before I got my first deer. I give you a lot of credit for 2 good shots this year. I'am sure you did everything you could think of to recover your deer by yourself. It sounds like your deer did not go to waste. Nature has a way of taking care of itself. The next time you go hunting remember you are a good shot and don't be afraid to pull the trigger!!!
