Guys My grandson shot another one yesterday evening a young doe he tried to track it and couldnt find it he is very disgusted with hisself told his mom he was not going anymore that he couldnt shoot well enough that the 8 was pure luck as I said there was a mist here yesterday and I was 35 miles away and my soninlaw didnt get home from work until too late to go out last night anyway my grandson (Richard) went to bed almost crying that he had wounded a deer and couldnt find it he is very tore up. This morning his dad went to his stand and tracked the deer down it was a perfect shot double lung deer went about 100yds but when he found it either a bear or dogs or something had eaten over 2/3's of it eating through the guts anyway nothing left to bring home Richard is in school and doesnt know it was found and that he had pulled a good shot.
Sometimes it isnt a great idea to wait until the next day I can tell him it happenes and so can his dad he did all he could his mom told me he hunted for it until dark just didnt have the experience to find it. (That is his next lesson for sure) if you would just let him that is does happen to a lot of us even with a good shot he read the board but isnt registered yet. Thanks for reading
