There is no "approved" list for firearm cases, I've never had a ticket agenthassle me or any of my buddies for what we are transporting our firearms in. I use Pelican and Starlight cases, but I've seen everything down to some really cheap Doskocil cases that can be had for $20.

It's your gun, but I wouldn't let mine ride in something flimsy.
