I needed a new cleaning jag for my 54. [:@]None found todate localy after going to the three major suppliers of gun related STUFF for 50's. The one place is a gun shop and does have a bunch of BP bullets, sabots, powder and other STUFF. Decided to see what they had in used ML's saw two Remington 50 cal rifles One stainless steel with a Bushnell 3x9 scope for 270.00. The other one was the blued (looks black to me) no scope, had the manual for $270.00. seemed odd to me since the SS sold for about $20.00 more new if I remember right.
Got after the owner about the lack of 54 stuff since I bought mine from him. Gota buy that stuff before August he said reduceing the inventory starting in Oct so they are not left with so much stuff at the end of their fical year.

Ya I thought about asking him to trade the 50 SS Remingtom minus scope for my 54 SS Remington but I do like mine to much.
