Its nice to know that you have to think about how you can SLOW these bows down rather than worry if you will get ENOUGH speed. Gives you a much wider range of arrow and weight choices than simply the lightest arrow you can find to get the speed you want.
Speed isn't everything, but an overabundance of it gives you many more options and is much more versatile in set-up vs a bow with a lower speed rating. Especially when you are thinking about just one bow that must do double duty as a 3D/Hunting bow.

Yup..exactly what I've been trying to say since I started shooting Bowtechs..you just did a much better job of it

I was thinking last night, that with my normal string set-up and with the 28" modules I'll probably be in the 310 to 315 or so range at 5 grains. But for hunting I will slow her down.In my area I just don't have the need for the extra flat trajectory, so I'll be shooting closer to 6 to 6.5 grains per LB which will still put me in the 280to 290 ballpark...YIKES! If the new grip is a nice as I'm hoping, I might even be able to shoot the 29" modules.... Scary.

and yup..the P40 DC is a contender, but I think I'd rather have the wheel bow just because it's different. That Extreme-VFT was calling to me in my dreams last night though!

round and round she goes...where she stops....
