I have a .416 rem mag. I use to pad a heck of a lot of towels when I benchshoot. It did not use to bother me so much before I put a scope on it. I treated it more like a shotgun. Lift, small correction and bang. The scope really made me lean more backwards and probably loosen my stock weld too.
Heres one Ive had on before, but I like it so its rerun of a 4 bore shooter in trouble. Observe the guy behind him whose job it is to support the shooter if he needs it.
