ahhh thats alright bill no need to get into more details.....i kinda did notice in life already that its kinda rare to see a ruffed grouse mounted anywhere.....but pheasants and such seem to be everywhere....ill have one mounted one day....not anytime soon though.....i was going to drive to the mountains to try to bag another one this weekend if they were indeed only 100-200 bucks.....but i will want mine stutting,drumming or taking off with its tail all fanned out....something like that...thanx for the info though......i will talk to my taxidermist about it though..maybe next year...2 mounts is enough for this year.....i know he LOVES to do turkeys.....ive never seen anyone take the time and add the detail of all the TINY feathers on a turkeys head...and hand paint each head......he was/is an artist...details are his thing...i think i got me a good taxidermist.....cant wait till my fish is done!
