Default RE: Ruger 22 conversions

You probley dont want to spend what I did but I would not touch a butler creek barrel! It all started for me when I seen a cool 10/22 conversion at a local pawn shop it had a hogue stock and butlercreek barrel. long story short I threw the BC in the dumpster It is not carbon fiber it is some kind of plastic it now has a magnum research barrel (makers of the desert eagle) and TRUE CARBON FIBER
clark custom triger bolt buffer and so on. It shoots scary well at 50. And I know also have a 10/22 magnum converted to .17 hmr with same barrel and stock and in no wind days it will out shoot any centerfire I own at 100! and by a very large margin! Ther is a lot of better barrels out there than the BC go to rimfirecentrel.com and read. lots of good knowledgable people there! trust me buy youa barrel andbuy a stock by hogue you can get some very good prices from warner guns here http://www.outdoorguides.com/outdoor/rug1022.htm
