My 1st big buck(18" 10pt)was killed withmy 7600 .270. Ive never had any probs with gun. It shoots 1.5 " groups or better at 100yards. I use 140 grn hollow points or 130 BTs. This gun will be a very reliable addition. If your not much for recoil go with the 308 otherwise the 270 or '06 will work great.
Ive used this gun in allkindsof weather and when I was youngerprob didnt take care of it like I should for a few years and stillnever had a probwithit.
