Saying that the 223's ammo is cheaper can be a line of bull...depending on the gun.

Sure, there are a lot of cheap shells for .223's, but they all don't shoot WELL.

My .223 likes Black Hills ammo...and it's $17 for 50 shells.

Some of this PMC and Wolf ammo, while fine...won't shoot well in some guns.
