Best All Around Passive
Shooter's Protection Plug

Developed for and currently used by the military in several countries, the AOSafety Indoor/Outdoor range plug does it all. One end has a pressure-activated valve that remains open, allowing normal hearing until a shock wave such as that created by a weapon discharge or firing of a nail gun arrives at the ear. When the shock wave hits the plug, the valve closes almost instantly, protecting the ear of the wearer from damage. As soon as the shock wave passes, the valve reopens letting the wearer again hear normally, making these plugs ideal for most outdoor hunting, shooting and construction environments.
