RE: Should hunting over bait be illegal in your area?
The only arguement I can buy for this is disease (if it is fact) and taking away from neighboring hunters...
As for it being 'too easy' and for 'cheating', that would include many things besides bait... binoculars, range finders, store-bought scent blockers (making your own is fine by me if we're discussing 'cheating'), store-bought cammo, fancy bows with all of the tricks, trail cameras, scopes on rifles, deer grunt calls (unless it's coming out of your own mouth, not with a store-bought item) and the list goes on... those make hunting easy and if putting out corn is cheating then so are these in my honest opinion...
I don't like sitting and aiming straight down a scendero "at" a feeder... but I also don't mind scouting an area and spreading a good 25 or so pounds of corn in a 100 yard strip...
