RE: favorite venison jerky recipe
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup worcester sauce
2 tblspn ketchup
2 tblspn brown sugar
1 capful liquid smoke
1 clove garlic, minced
salt, pepper, onion powder (I add Emeril's essence)
all to taste
Let marinate overnight at least, stir it once or twice during that time if you can.
Covers about 4lbs of meat. We eat it as fast as it comes off the dehydrator, anywhere from 2 to 6 hours depending on thickness.
