Default RE: Your hunting dog names

The working Cocker is making a come back. I bought Barney from Blue Chip Kennels in Hampton, IA. and there are a number of great breeders in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Check out the "Cockers in the field" web site for more information on the fbECS. A fbECS won aCanadian NationalSpaniel field trialand beat out some of the best ESS out there in 2005. I ran Barney in some AKC hunt tests over the summer (he received his Junior Hunter title) and there are very few fbECS entered (and fewer yet that go all the way to Master Hunter). Grandma and her little showcockers (both english and american)make a strong showing though in order to get letters after their name so they can make more when they sell the pups. Barney is awesome both in the home and in the field - I think I've found the breed I'm going to stick with for the rest of my hunting life.
