Most of my shots fall between 5-15 yds. Around here if you are in the woods you are not likeky to get a clear shot longer than 15-20 yds. (too thick[&:]) and most bucks will not come to a field edge until after dark. I like 5-10 yd shots cause even when it gets dark in the woods at that range you can still make out exactly the size and sex
