RE: 23",26", 28" Barrel
This question is best answered by taking time to go to a patterning board with a few different boxes of shells and choke tubes.
You will be surprised at the results, I think you find the 23" barrel to be fine, but a bit whippy and that the longer barrels will swing a little more smoothly when waterfowling. If you go with something like KENT Faststeel (or anyone elses), you will have to open up the choke.
If you are hunting over dekes and from a blind, the short barrel with an IC tube is very handy.
Go to the pattern board, chose the best combo and do not look back!
