go to the local gun shows, i got a 4-9x32 and a 4-9x40 or something like that for 20 bucks a piece. i got one on my crossbow and one on my muzzleloader, my dad also got a 10x50 scope for 25 bucks there too. a guy i know found a .223 single shot with a scope for 150 bucks. theres some good deals down at the gun shows
