I've shot a 10 for about 20 years now thumpin turkeys and will continue to do so!My old Ithica semi is so familiar to me its like my right arm!As far as the kick,it kicks far less than many of the 3'magsI've shot,it more or less push's than gives you that bone jarring kick!My wifehas even shot it on occasion!Yes theres far more user friendly firearms available to todays modern turkey hunters in this case the gun is just so darn heavy but thats why I have a Butler Creek sling on it too!As far as what it does to turkeys and the confidence I have inshooting it I am not about totry and fix something that aint broke!!!!
