I can't tell you how many times I've done the same thing. Boy, if he just takes two more steps I'll have a perfect shot. Or, if I just wait, the other, bigger deer will present itself. Hahahahahaha Don't be so down on yourself, it's all part of the hunt. This is more of a judgement call than stupidity. And I know stupid. These make good stories around the campfire.
