I am still wet behind the ears when it comes to trad shooting, but for me three under is just not comfortable and I can't shoot worth $h!t with it so I use split and perfer it plus I am pretty positive that my bow isn't tillered for three under(chek-mate falcon). It seems to be louder with three under, IMO I think I would go with what ever is more comfortable and consitent for you.
