Good camo, a comfortable seat, a call you have practiced with, a well-patterned shotgun you have patterned yourself and practiced with, and scouting. I camo all over..including gloves. I use a summit climber top on a tree placed low to ground ,if I have a scouted place picked out; or an innertube for a lawn mower tire partialled inflated to" run and gun" tied to my belt to sit on quickly..very comfortable and quiet. A 12g or 16g DB shotgun with 2 3/4" loads only ,patterned by myself. I have never found a need out to 45 yards for anything else larger in size. Out past 45 yds. ..no shot. I make my own box calls and do well with them, but commercial calls are all out there to use. Scout well, sit still, and call infrequently. Like most males, I like a quiet female with a soft voice.
