I've still got a couple of packages of Muzzy Matadors from the 80's- 160 gn 4 blade heads - thatcut huge holes in feral hogs. The broadheads I used most often were 145 gns. If broadheads are getting heavier, they've got a long way to go before they catch up with the past.

As for choosing between 100 and 125 gn heads... That choiceshould be made solely on which weight shoots best on your arrows. Buy a few 125's and try them. If they shoot better for you, then make the switch. If they don't, then at least you know. If you don't see any difference at all, then you're free to use whichever are easier to find at the store.
