Default RE: New Henry .22

I had one and sold it, worst mistake I ever made. That little rifle was great. Mine was very accurate, one of the most accurate .22's I have owned. I sighted it in for 50 yards and it would shoot around 1/2 inch groups at that distance. I shot it from bench one day with a 16 power AO contender target scope at 100 yards while we were sighting in our ML's. It was about six inches low and I was getting pretty consistant 1-1.5 inch groups with winchester hollow points.

The only thing I didn't like was the plastic ring on the barrel and the trigger could have been better. The action was VERY smooth though and I never had a feed problem or failure to fire in the year or so I had it. It was probably just getting broke in when I sold it, about 400 rounds or so maybe 500. The guy I sold it to loves it and says I will never get it back even if I give him twice what he paid me for it ( I could get a new one for that).

Maybe I got lucky and got a good one? All I know is it was one of the best 22's I have owned, and it was only 189 bucks at wally world. They went up though, I just looked at them the other day.
