Put a string on 1/2" shorter than what it calls for and then put about 10-15 more twists in the string. This will shorten the drawlength. It will also drop the peak weight of the bow. If you can you can adjust the weight with the limb bolts.

What is the weight range of the bow and what are you currently shooting it at?
