The surgical tubing may cause some of the noise. I had my peep removed that was of that type. Now with the donut type. Somewhat quieter.
Biggest change to quiet my bow was a single $0.02 nylon washer for my dampener. The dampner is very important on this bow due to it's short axle length. The washer that I had there allowed too much vibration.
