Default RE: Turkeys with da bowwwww

I have been bowhunting turkeys for along time now. Your setup sounds like a start now, maybe inching up the wallet to introduce some decoys as well. The gobbler guillotine is a broadhead that needs a good shot. It is not a broadhead for the novice, and it is not a broadhead for a body shot. Stick with fixed or mechanical heads like you mentioned, and you will be ok. Practice shots at 25 yards and under, and also practice, practice, practice your calls. It is important not to overcall the turkeys and make sure you remaim as still as possible, for turkeys are some of the gamebirds that can both see color and movement. Other than that, experience, practice, and patience are the keys to having a successful hunt.
