I didn't say aluminums were cheaper than some carbons. It's just that for simular prices, especially cheap ones aluminums are much more consistant than most carbons are. The quality control for bargain carbons is pretty poor in my opinion. Not that most notice the differences, but if you measure them you may be suprised.
