i too have good night vision, it may be because when i get out of bed i don't turn lights on. if i do i have a habbit of keepng my dominate eye closed.i even close it when a car is comming the other way,and put a red jell cover over the dumb (dome) light. now the last three times out ,it's been rainning so it's too dark and i use a pen light , just enough to see where i'm going and not get poked in the eye.i think not using a light helps me more as its getting light out
