I have only used Beman ICS Hunters & Gold Tip as far as carbons go! Nothing bad to say about either. I currently shoot the Gold Tips only because I get them cheaper from my local pro shop!
I still use easton xx75 aluminum arroms off of my Jennings. I use the carbons with my Hoyt's.
As far as the price range between a dozen xx75's and the Gold Tips there is not much. This is at my local pro shop. Some others around me that I will not mention have a lot wider price range!
