Good thing you don't get paid to analyze problems cause you were a galaxy away on this one...
Not at all........right on the money given what was posted.
Implied in your mind perhaps, but they are both factual...There were two deer that left the scene together and there is no reason to turn myself in because no laws were broken.
How can you
remember seeing 2 deer leave the scene?? You would have had to know she was pregnant for that to be true.
You know a little commons sense goes a long way. I remember a few years ago one of our esteemed (and I mean that respectfully) moderators entitled a thread something to the effect of "Help, Ihit running deer at 50 yards and I can't find it"... I knew right away that wasn't the case just because of who he was. As has been pointed out, even if that happened, that type of individual is not going to put it on a public forum...think about it....
So you are admitting to trolling? Nice to know only "new" people here are dumb enough to post when they make a mistake........and all the seasoned board members just keep them quiet
Your own words show your ignorance on the subject of fetus' in relationship to breeding periods and fawn develpment. Many fetuses are photographed, frozen, and measured.
Yea.......by biologists and those studying deer.......not some dude that kills a doe and keeps it's unborn in his freezer next to the ice cream.......then posts pics in a public forum that have no educational value at all. You are a true hero of scientific research.
This data provides information about the herd that some of us are interestedin and can learn from. I am sorry it does not meet your high standards.
How do your pics accomplish this?
Our gun season just ended here the 18thand tens of thousand of does have been harvested in that venue. I would venture to say that over 90% of the folks that kill a doe in post rut are not aware the fetus is even in the gut pile.
So what??
It is not "sick" in any way nor "disrespectful" to the animal to inspect the fetus. Quite the contrary. It is for lack of a better word, a compliment to the species that a person would take the time, go to that effort, and have the know how to find a fetus as well as record any information it can give.
I'm sure she appreciates that "compliment"..........If that deer had known you were gonna take it's unborn home and put it on ice only to post weird pics of it on the net I'm sure she would have jumped in front of you to be first in line for that "honor"
Surely youinspect the vitals of your kill for information...No more disrespectful or sick to do that thanto inspect the fetus for information.
BIG difference........I see what was hit and relate it to blood trail and distance covered before piling up.......I also check the stomach to see where and what they were eating. I don't take the organs home and put them in the freezer to take pictures of.
I don't expect most people to go to the extremes that I do to further their knowledge about their local herd. I don't look down on those that don't put that kind of effort into it, it is just something I do for my own knowledge and development.
What possible information are you obtaining looking at that thing in your freezer??
Atlas even when I hunted in highpressured areas for meat years ago I chose not to shoot button bucks. When you shot one this year I sincerely congratulated you for it and didn't attack you for something I find rather silly.
I didn't shoot
a button buck.........I shot 2 of them.......and a spiker. I really couldn't care less what you or anyone else thinks about what I shoot. I hunt for me.......and no one else.
This thread is not even close to giving hunting a black eye.
Show this thread to any anti or even non hunter and I bet you get a different opinion.
