Its ok, I have used it on a 308. You just got to learn where it hits relative to the caliber. With a 308, it was complicated. I bet a RUM or WM would work much better. Just make sure you go out and try the marks at different distances. I usually put a little piece of paper in my lense cap cover as a cheat sheet for my target turrets. Like 3MOA to 300 yards, and 9MOA at 600 yards.
