Default RE: Whisker Bisquit Accuracy

Biggest difference I see in your analogy is that there are obvious reasons why people choose a compound over a long bow
Atlasman, what obvious reasons? Let me hearyour list of obvious reasons having to do with the longbow, so I cancall them 'urban legends.' No matter how true they are, once they are labeled 'urban legends' they automatically become invalid. Right?

Arroman! I hope the whisker bisquitnever does fail you. But it will. Eventually. Nothing is perfect. Even longbows break, eventually.

Archers helping archers is a great thing. You, Arroman, seem to imply that I am not helping. I take great exception to that.

For instance, I amNOT the one beating folks about the head and shoulders saying or, at least, implying, since this shooting machine can put 12 arrows through the same hole with a wb, then their form obviously sucks or they can't tune a bow if thewb isn'tdoingwell for them. How is that 'helping' anyone?

Even if the rest is MECHANICALLY capable of that kind of accuracy, that does NOT mean that it will show that capability in the hands of each and every person who shoots a bow.

Those who refuse to acknowledge a products limitations and inherent problems, to the point of trying to silence all criticism of that product, have crossed the line. Once that line is crossed,he who had been a FAN of said product has now become a FANATIC.

To those struggling archers for whom the whisker bisquit IS failing.... for those who have made all themodificationsandare still frustrated andhaving unsatisfactory results....I'll say it once again. The whisker bisquit is absolutely, positively not THE rest for everybody.

Don't listen to these overly zealous guys who beat you about the head and shoulders because you can't get the rest to perform. What works for some does not always work for all.'They' like it, sosell it to one of them. Or tie a nickle on that wb, so it'll be worth something, and throw it in the river. Whatever.... Once you are rid of the source of frustration, then go buy a rest that will do what you need for it to do.

See, Arrowman? That is not negativity. To most regular folks that is plainol' common sense.
