RE: Anyone hunting NY late season ML?- It think its over for most!
I hunted Sat-Tues. I saw deer every day and had an opportunity to take one each day if I choose to but passed. Most of the deer I saw were smaller does. I was holding out to maybe see a Buck but didnt see any.
I had a small doe come in to my stand Sunday morning feed for a while then proceeded to bed down about 30 yards from my stand. I shot that one with by camera! It stayed bedded until my nephew came walking through about a half hour later.
It was nice just to see Deer every time out. I am really beginning to enjoy the late season opportunities especially since they have extended the season this year.
