Default RE: 10ga. for Toms?

ORIGINAL: StrutnBPS

I have several guns. The one I use to turkey hunt with now is a Browning BPS 3.5''. Its not that what I have doesn't work. I've just always wanted a 10ga.
I would stick with what you got if its getting the job done. I have used a 870 Wingmaster LC12ga. 3inch and have taken many of birds in the 40-50 yard range when I needed too. Great power and light in the hand. That 10ga. singlewould be a lot to handle and would punish the shoulder. Thats just my opinion tho. If you really want one and got the money then hey, go for it!
