Default RE: 10ga. for Toms?

It has been my experience that 10 ga. single shots are punishing on the shooter. I have shot several and didn't care for that aspect of them. I have several turkey gun and one of mine is a 10 ga Browning BPS w/24" barrel. It is a serious turkey killer, but it is heavy. Too heavy to carry for the way I like to hunt (always on the move).

My theory on purchasing guns is if you want it and you can afford it buy it. They are good investments.
