You know, I can mount my longbow in your hootiescootie and make it shoot 12 arrows thru the same hole too. You got tired of replacing moleskin, nail polish and stuff and went to the wb, huh? Well, I got tired of everything involved with maintaininga piece of crap compound - replacingcables, cranking on screws and bolts, keepingstuff tight so it won't vibrate or fall off while I'm shooting, having to buy several releases at $100 a pop so I'd have spares when one of 'em broke... So I pitched it all andwent straight back toshooting a longbow.
You suggest that, since the wb can shoot 12 arrows in the same hole from the hootiescootie, and since YOU like the wb, then everyone should only do what YOU like and use the wb.
Now,sincemy longbow can also shoot 12 arrows in the same hole from that machine, and since I like the longbow, thenI have just as much call to expect everyone to only do what I
like. So here is my recommendation. Everybody who is going to hunt with a bow would be well advised to onlyuse a longbow.[8D]

Completely ridiculous.Your problem is that you don't know that it's exactly as ludicrous andridiculous as your recommendation.What you wb snobs have to learn is, the wb is NOT the perfect rest for everyone. Just like a longbow is not the perfect bow for everyone. Understand??

Biggest difference I see in your analogy is that there are obvious reasons why people choose a compound over a long bow...........on the other hand the reasons people give for not shooting a WB are more urban legend then fact. Loses speed??....nope.......Wrecks vanes???......nope.........Loud???...... nope.......Accuracy??......no problem........hard to work with??.........not at all.
