RE: Recommended gear?
While the Switchback is a fine shooting bow (probably top dog), don't just go buy one. Check out as many brands, and models as possible, and shoot them all. Don't make your mind up until you've had a chance to shoot multiple brands and models. A bow is a very personal thing. Everybody has they're favorite, and usually it's what they've been shooting for a while, or a brand they personally have confidence in. I'm currently shooting a Darton, which to most guys isn't a real ""trendy" model. I like it, and it does the trick. Buy whatever you like, if it's a name brand quality really isn't an issue. Way too many good bows out there to say "whatever" is "best"....
