Default RE: Screw-in steps, ladders, or sticks?

Well Cabela's has the Gorilla stacking sticks for $89 and their own brand for $59. I'm just trying to come up with a new mobile system. Climbers are too big, bulky, and heavy. Ican't walk through thickets with those monsters.Besides they don't allow enough flexibility in tree selection. The Hunter's view sticks are just too big and heavy for carrying around. They're great for puttingup before the season but not for changing stands mid-season. Tall sticks would stick out too much beyond my back too. I'm looking for low profile, light weight, and quiet.

Another problem I've found with sticks is that when you go to unstack them it's hard not to tap them together and get some little tink sound, which is magnified by them being hollow. Same for taking apart climbing stands that are strapped together.
