RE: Whisker Bisquit Accuracy
I have shot the B-2 whisker biscuit using a Hooter-Shooter to hold the bow and it shot the arrow into the exact same hole twelve times in a row! That is accurate enough for me!
Tuning a bow for success is simple enough to do. Most bows will shoot a level arrow from the 90degree position on the bowstring if the bow is set at an even tiller.
Windage for the whisker biscuit should be set by grouptuning at different distances using the correct spine arrows for the bow. The correct spine arrows will hit the same vertical line at all distances while the incorrect spine arrows will not.
Smooth finish arrow are noiseless when drawn on the rest. Easton Axis, Beman ICS, and Carbon Express Terminator Select shafts have all shot quietly from my bows. You can get a good idea about how much noise a shaft may make by drawing it across your fingernail next to your ear.
I have one of the older black biscuits that has been on a dozen different bows. This rest has been flattened both sides. It has over 50,000 shots on it and its still ballson accurate and ready to go another 50,000 shots. It shoots very quietly too.
I'm happy to find a rest that actually improves with age. I don't miss having to replace tape, moleskin, or nail-polish before or after a hunt.
My biscuits stay in tune. They don't bend, break, or go out of time.
The biscuit is simple, easy to work with, and reliable as rain. If you are going to hunt with the bow you would be well advised to use a whisker biscuit on it.
Good luck hunting! >>>------------->
