I would say neither. IL is over rated and Iowa doesn't have the deer population. I would say go with Buffalo County, WI. I have met a nice guy who has an outfitting business up there. 100% wild & fair chase on about 3000 acres give or take. I don't remember price. Just visited during the summer. Great Guy and lots of big bucks. I have seen them. The website is buffalocountyoutfitters.com. I not getting any perks for this post. His business has been on a lot of the popular videos the last couple years.
