I would go to your local sporting goods store and buy a couple different Duck hunting videos. Hunters Speacialties makes some greatones. While your there pick up a duck call and then watch the videos. When they call you call... Watch and learn! mimic the ounds they make, and listen to there advice. Start there and then move into the field. Trial and error will happen, don't get frustrated! Kepp truckin! When I was your age hunting in Idaho, I carried my gun, some food and water and one dozen duck decoys.. Along with my lab. That's all you need to get started!
