Default Montana Mule deer & Antelope SPECIAL!!!

Welcome to Montana Whitetails, Inc. We are offering a special Mule deer & Antelope combo hunt for the 2006 season. This is a 7 day hunt and costs $3,795.00 and includes, a guaranteed outfitter sponsored license for the mule deer, the antelope tag must be drawn through the lottery, meals, lodging, and transportation pickup/delivery to Bozeman airport. The reason we are offering this special is because we specialize in Bowhunting whitetails along the river bottom and very, very few people ever take advantage of the great mule deer and antelope hunting that we can offer outside our archery only whitetail areas. We have thousands of acres of prime mule deer habitatin whichour leases hold a large mule deer herd that can be hunted with a rifle starting the 3rd week of October. Because the number of mule deer hunters with guns are limited to six, we have had a 100% success rate and is a lot of fun. You will look over a lot of younger mule deer bucks in order to find the more mature bucks, but they are there, and it's just a matter of time before settling the crosshairs on your trophy. Our good mule deer tend not to be the largest in the west but with so many it's truly a lot of fun hunting them. Our average "good buck or trophy" will probably range in the 140" - 160" class with a few bigger and a lot of smaller bucks. These mule deer can also be hunted early in the season along the river bottom with a bow over alfalfa, wheat, or oats. There are some productive early season stands set up that will allow you to watch both mule deer and whitetails utilize the same food sources. In years that are dry late into fall, mule deer seek out the more succulent forage along the river bottom along with the whitetails. Your best bet when bowhunting for mule deer is to have the mindset of taking a trophy whitetail or a mule deer buck from these stands as you will probably have more opportunities at whitetails but it sure is fun to sit their with that option of taking either. You can look through our website to see some of our nicer mule deer bucks that where taken on our leases. There are not many because we simply don't advertise the mule deer hunting very much and only a handful of people actually hunted them on our leases over the years. There has only been one antelope hunter over the years that shot a P & Y with his bow from a treestand using a decoy. With this message, we are now going to start advertising this hunt to take some of the more mature bucks and hopefullymore muleydoes out of this large herd. This is a fairly easy hunt that can be very rewarding. Thanks for reading and Happy Holidays!
