I love how people can jump to conclusions.

My set in the morning will be in a pine.....about 25 feet off the ground. When the leaves fall off the trees around here.....you need SOMETHING to give you cover. If I get high enough into the pine....the foliage from the branches will offer me the best possible cover scenario.

Oh yeah.....there's NO limbs below me. NO chance at a "twig" being overlooked to "get" my arrow.

Who said I couldn't positively identify this animal. I've already stated that it's a deer. About now....the sex of this DEER doens't mean that much to me. It's a mature DEER. I have a tag for antlerless or w/ antlers. NC has no antler restrictions.

If I shoot it.....I'll send you a picture.
